Acclaimed filmmaker Errol Morris, known for his Academy Award®-winning work, tackles one of the most troubling episodes in recent U.S. history: the separation of families. Drawing from Jacob Soboroff’s book, “Separated: Inside an American Tragedy,” Morris combines explosive interviews with government officials and skillfully crafted narrative scenes to depict the struggles of a migrant family.
