Zhenzhen is illegally brought into Trinidad and faces danger as soon as she arrives. Her brother Wei, employed in the island’s construction sector, steps in to help. Despite lacking the funds, he vows to settle her debt. Wei secures a position for Zhenzhen at a Chinese eatery and attempts to obtain an advance from his boss.
