Dr. Alex Hoffman, a physicist from America living abroad, develops an artificial intelligence system designed to capitalize on fear within the financial markets, executing trades with incredible speed for substantial profits. However, on the day the system is set to launch, Alex’s mental stability is thrown into turmoil when he is brutally assaulted at his residence by an intruder familiar with all his security codes. As more mysterious events unfold, Alex starts to believe that he is being set up.
