My Summer as a Goth

“My Summer as a Goth” is a coming-of-age tale that explores the often challenging yet amusing journey of discovering one’s identity and love during the teenage years. Following the unexpected passing of her father, 16-year-old Joey Javitts is sent to live with her quirky grandparents while her writer mother is on a book tour. During her stay, Joey becomes infatuated with Victor, the intriguing Goth boy living next door, and undergoes a transformation influenced by him and his lively group of black-clad outsiders.
