The High Sun

Set against the backdrop of the Balkan conflicts, this film explores the enduring power of love through three different stories spanning three decades. Each segment features the same lead actors, Tihana Lazović and Goran Marković, portraying different characters whose relationships are tested by the socio-political turmoil of their times. Directed by Dalibor Matanić, the film received critical acclaim and won the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.
