After hesitantly going back to her tourist-heavy hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants uncovers a startling secret about her high school crush, now a police officer: he is an alien who has concealed his otherworldly powers throughout his life. She decides to safeguard his secret as they rekindle their relationship and start exploring his origins.
