Cory, a 12-year-old “altar boy” burdened with anxiety and guilt after his father’s murder, teeters on the edge of depression. His daring best friend, Ben, persuades him to demonstrate their maturity by taking their inaugural overnight fishing expedition in the untamed Mississippi Bayou’s Wolf River.
