The Purgation

Since childhood, Iris has dreamed of becoming a filmmaker. However, for the past five years, she’s been stuck in the realm of reality TV, directing episodes for a show that struggles to rival Ghost Hunters. Iris seizes an opportunity to showcase her talent when she’s assigned to her hometown of Black Falls, a small town with an abandoned mental institution notorious for its grim history of excessive shock therapy. As she films inside the asylum, Iris is flooded with memories of her youth, when she and her friends would sneak in to create homemade horror films. Unbeknownst to Iris, her life is about to mirror her art.
